Do you accept walk-ins?
Walk-ins welcome when an artist is free; appointments or consultations preferred. Same-day space is never guaranteed — it depends on the day’s schedule. Call (813) 853-2489 before you head in, or submit a request and we’ll set you up properly. For full or half-day custom sessions, book ahead.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book online here or contact your preferred artist directly through our Artist Pages.
What does a consultation include?
A consultation is a free conversation with your artist: you talk through your idea, review references, refine the design, and plan placement and size. Bring visual references if you have them — your input shapes the design. When your idea calls for one, it’s simply the first step of the booking process.
Not sure which artist to choose?
You don’t have to pick. Submit your idea through our booking form and we’ll match you with the Tuff artist whose work fits it best — realism, fine line, floral and mandala, black & grey, blackwork, cover-ups, or surreal work. Prefer to browse? Meet the artists and explore their portfolios first.
What styles of tattoos do you offer?
We specialize in a wide range of styles: black & gray, color, realism, fine line, mandala, floral, new school, and more.
What’s the shop minimum?
Our shop minimum is $100, and pricing varies by artist, size, and placement. The fastest way to get a real number is to submit a request — we'll match you with an artist and talk through pricing at your consultation.
What languages can I have a consultation in?
Consultations are available in English and Spanish; Portuguese is available with Dido.
Do tattoos hurt?
Pain tolerance varies, but yes — tattoos can be uncomfortable. We do our best to create a relaxed environment and keep you comfortable during your session.
How should I prepare for my tattoo appointment?
- Eat a full meal beforehand
- Stay hydrated
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours
- Wear comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being tattooed
What’s your cancellation policy?
We require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferable depending on the artist.
Do you do cover-ups or touch-ups?
Yes — many of our artists are experienced with cover-ups and reworks. Touch-up policies vary by artist, so we recommend discussing it during your session.
What is the aftercare process?
At the end of your session, your artist will walk you through the aftercare process. We’ll also email you written instructions, and our complete aftercare guide is available online whenever you need it. In general:
- Keep the tattoo clean and moisturized
- Avoid submerging it in water for at least 2 weeks
- No picking or scratching
- Stay out of the sun during healing
